With a beautiful rocky backdrop and a wonderful view of the sea, this tiny beach promises an unforgettable excursion for swimming or fishing.
Agriomantra can
be reached through the sea, by boat, or by a 10-15 minutes hiking, via the
nearby gorge.
The pebble beach
is not organized at all but you can find there a tamarisk
which can offer you its shade.
In the past the
bay was used, by the local people, as a
small port to export their products, such as olive oil, wine, carobs etc.
A few meters away, on the left side of the
beach, you can see the cavernous church of Saint John the Forerunner.
The beach is known for its natural environment
and it is the ideal place for total privacy.
From the port of
Tholos there is a boat, which organizes daily excursions to the islet of Pseira
that passes from Agriomantra, allowing its passengers to swim there or to have
a barbecue
